I am a member of the trade and placed an order with Angel. Upon his request I provided my resale certificate and completed credit card form as the items were shipping out of NY state. After submitting my documents I never head back from him. I reached out a few times and was ignored and was finally connected to their accountant who told me they thought it was a scam because the items were shipping out of state. Uhm? Was anyone going to call and tell me this or verify that it wasn't? Instead they ignored me. I had to explain that I am a Designer and I have clients in NYS and beyond and was sourcing items for the Electrician who couldn't get the items where he was located. Crazy that I even had to explain this. The ladies that answer the phone need a major crash course in professional telephone etiquette. So rude, short and nasty.

Response to Business: I have an extensive background in retail so I understand and appreciate the safeguards. However it's clear that you need a better vetting and training process so that you're not filtering out legitimate business. I lost a full week on my installation just because someone assumed I was scam and ignored the communication. You can easily do an authorization with the cc company/bank and ask for references. If I weren't making purchases (successfully) with other businesses shipping from NYS to out of state then this would be a different conversation. Thank you!

Very busy location lines out the door. Prepare to wait a bit. They had item we needed in stock, reasonable price and customer service was on point.

You had better know exactly what you want before you enter or you stand a chance of being talked down to and treated like an idiot. I brought in a burned-out halogen bulb for a replacement. It had lasted a long time and most of the info on the collar had burnt away; I only knew what wattage I needed. Rather than being helpful the fellow behind the counter all but actually berating me for not knowing more. I went there because I thought as specialists, they would be able to help me. His tone was insulting and his service abominable.

They are incredibly abrasive people. As they work with contractors mostly, it makes sense. But, they don't run a customer-oriented store. Don't even walk in if you have any sense of empathy, or care towards others.

Great service. I was in and out in about 4 minutes. Right away knew the bulbs that I needed and had them in stock. Everyone was wearing a mask, properly.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. I called for a SPECIFIC part. I was told they had it in stock. We had to drive far to this store for this guy just to tell me its a special order. I specifically gave him the model number, voltage, amps, etc. These guys are horrible. All they want is a sale. No matter how far you have to drive

Great selection and rarely out of stock. Upstairs sales people are great. Counter staff can be a little grumpy but are very helpful.
