The MOST authentic Italian fish salad I’ve had outside of my families personal recipe! That alone will keep me coming back. The Italian Hero is absolutely massive and packed full of fresh cut meats that’ll easily fill two people. I will be back!

I used to love this place but the quality has really gone downhill. I grew up 2 blocks from there and the meats and salads were great. Moved from area and now when I'm in the area stop to bring things home. Twice in the last 6 months I have bought food from there that was spoiled by the next morning and it's not a long drive 3 exits on the Belt. Will not stop again.

ALWAYS Fresh (everything) and great service. You can't possibly beat their prices on the heros and sandwiches. They've always been excellent anytime I've had them cater an affair.. And I personally HIGHLY recommend their Mozzarella Balls, Heros, and Stuffed Pork Chops!
PS: This review is making me hungry so I'm going to head over there for my weekly dose! Haha

Found out about this place 7 years ago from my neighbor and will be a lifelong customer. They remember you and what you want after a few visits. Very friendly service. Selection is great----if you don't see what you want, ask. If they do not have it, they'll order it for you. They have sandwiches, hot food, deli items, sausages, meats etc. All items are of the highest quality.

I love going to G&S. First, the smell is heavenly. The staff is super-friendly and the meat is top-notch. Haven't had a chance to eat a lot of the prepared food, but I've chatted with other customers who really like it. Their seafood salad is the absolute best. Christmas for my family always starts with a trip to the pork store to pick up sausage, bracciol, and the fixings to make lasagna. If you want to go to an old-school butcher shop, this is the place. I try to go as often as I can.

They have just earned a life long customer. So warm and friendly the staff are. The roasted chicken and salads were great ? tasted almost like my Grandmother made them. I will come here even if I moved.?

Best butcher shop in the neighborhood. Come early because they close early. But you will find what you are looking for. Plus, if you call in advance they will prepare (peel offs, cuts, etc.) the way you want it so you don't have to wait for it at the store.

ALWAYS fresh and delicious. Excellent service with a family/friendly vibe. Prices are fair and I'd recommend them to anyone whether you want a hero, cold cuts, or hot dish!
