Stellar establishment with a good range of Jamaican food options including Oxtail, Curry Chicken, and more. A very local and vibrant decorative scene that seems to want to complement the food experience.
All in all, the food was very savory and quickly served and while they didn’t have Oxtail and some other items at the specific time, all of their dishes appear to have the caliber of quality. Much recommended.

Omg this place is AMAZING the welcome we received was the best. The food was so good there are no real words for it. We will definitely be back. The flavor and care put into the food was out of this world the best I have ever ate in my life.

My normal go to Jamaican spot was closed until Wednesday. I ordered a normal Jerk chicken combo with steamed vegetables/mac and cheese. I was super disappointed because every single item didn’t hit at all. Out of respect, I try to finish all meals but this was tough ‍♂️
I can’t wait until this Wednesday ?

G's Jamaican Quisine is always my first stop when visiting KC. I've been eating there since 2016. In fact, I've eaten there twice on the same trip while in KC on multiple occasions. If you are looking for authentic and traditional Jamaican food, look no further than G's. The sweet, sweet reggae music is always oozing from the sound system like it does in Jamaican yards of the island. Service time is with minimal wait. On this trip, I ordered Curry Goat, Peas Rice, and Cabbage with a side of Plantains. My drink was Ginger Pineapple Juice. The goat was meaty and curried to perfection. It was juicy and moderately spicy. The rice was dutty like I like it ? and the cabbage was fresh and textured between tender and crisp. The Plantains were a bit soggy (I prefer them crisp). The juice was pure with no additives and had that kick that I was anticipated. Give them a try, and you'll probably find your way back.

If you’re not eating at G’s Jamaican Quisine you’re missing out. Every meat dish is literally falling off the bone and so flavorful. From the curry chicken and ox tails to the brown stew chicken. Every dish was cooked to perfection. The red beans and rice will be my kryptonite and the ox tails… well they’re indescribable. Everyone behind the counter was so welcoming and kind. Not only will I be back, I’ll be making regular appearances.

Omg my food was soooo good. Jerk chicken, rice and peas, and cabbage were cooked to perfection. Meat pie crust was tender and flaky. Coco bread was warm and soft. I got my order to go but the music was a vibe and the restaurant was spotless. Excellent service. Prices were super reasonable. And I had leftovers which were also fire.

Well best place I’ve ever gotten for jamacian food . So far my favorite place to eat and I’m a very picky eater and I don’t usually do food reviews but they do deserve my review. They only had one couple and whole restaurant isn’t has busy. All and all FOOD IS BUSSIN ❤️ and service is okay. But I do plan on coming here and bring my family to have a good time. Love the music vibes, love how the place reminds me of being back at home. If felt like I was dinning in an island restaurant in Guam. Highly recommend for those who misses home for islanders who are far away even customers who want to feel a different experience. OXTAILS AND BEAN AND RICE ?

Amazing flavor and spice! Red beans and rice were perfect.

Had jerk chicken and oxtail. So good! Chicken wings might be the best in the city. Big and juicy, perfect spice.
